How many people were old enough to vote in Taos County during 2021?

Of the 34,322 citizens living in Taos County in 2021, 82.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 28,313 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 13,822 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 14,491 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Taos County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77%.
